Glynn Capital Announces Flutterwave CEO, SVP, and Head of IR as Technology and Finance Members

 

San Francisco, August 18, 2022: Glynn Capital has included Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola, Founder and CEO of Flutterwave, Omosalewa Adeyemi, Senior Vice President of Market Penetration, and Kanyinsola Adepoju, Head of Investor Relations, Flutterwave in its Glynn 100 list of Technology and Finance Members. Glynn 100 is a curated network which celebrates global leaders within Technology, Finance, IT, Marketing, Human Resources, and Security who have distinguished themselves in their industry and business. Other members of the list include executives from Meta, Stripe, Citigroup, Carta, and Okta among many others. 

Mr. Agboola became CEO of Flutterwave in 2018 and has since led the company to a valuation of over $3bn achieved following the recently completed Series D financing round. Mr. Agboola’s software engineering background and expertise in enterprise architecture and payments facilitated his work in major institutions such as the Royal Bank of Scotland as a Business Entrepreneur and Africa Fintech Foundry as a Senior Entrepreneur in Residence. He has been named African Leadership Magazine's Young Business Leader of The Year (2020). 

Ms. Adeyemi, Senior Vice President for Market Penetration at Flutterwave, joined the company in 2017 and has led  Flutterwave’s market expansion initiative, which saw the business growing its operations from 1 to 33 countries. She started her career in Triage Consulting where she was promoted to Senior Associate before joining Flutterwave. She graduated  from the University of California, Berkeley and MIT Sloan School of Management.  

Ms. Adepoju joined Flutterwave in 2017 and became Investor Relations Manager in 2019, helping the company through its Series C and D rounds which valued the company at over $1bn and $3bn respectively. She has a background in Economics and Finance from the University of San Francisco.
